I used one jar of salsa (as spicy as you want!) and 5 large frozen chicken breasts (fresh would work fine as well). I cooked it on low for 6 hours. When it was done cooking, I shredded the chicken and added some sour cream. I layered the chicken with corn tortillas and cheese (corn tortillas, chicken, cheese, lather rise repeat). I baked this for about 30 minutes at 350. Easy and DELICIOUS. Overall, the chicken was INCREDIBLE. You could use it for tacos, nachos, etc. SO good and SO easy!LipDom Teamhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17313113579382361636noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5318432618768960668.post-72970829533814764872010-04-08T20:21:31.664-04:002010-04-08T20:21:31.664-04:00Thanks, everyone! I've strayed from the original for some time now.
Basically you need chicken, chopped and uncooked, three cans of beans (any kind you like, but the white kidney beans don't hold up too well), chicken broth (I use how ever much I feel like, tonight we did 1 1/2 cans), tomatoes chopped up, tomato paste and sauce if you like. Bell peppers, any color you like. We put hot peppers in it too. Then for spices, 2 cloves garlic minced, cumin, oregano and salt to taste.

This is for a slow cooker by the way. Put it all in and cook on low for 8 hours or high for 4-5 hours.
Let me know if you have any questions. It really is fantastic.Wishing on starshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01225287083092657275noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5318432618768960668.post-55986784139437047332010-04-07T17:33:40.431-04:002010-04-07T17:33:40.431-04:00This is one of our favorite recipes- we love it!
