Black bean and quinoa burgers are a huge hit (and great sources of protein) and we like to eat them as well. At this point, I just mix them with cereal to make them thicker and let him feed himself.Lisahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10893869092895987893noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5318432618768960668.post-32691586701755329452011-06-27T23:22:37.483-04:002011-06-27T23:22:37.483-04:00we are trying to get my son to gain weight so we a...we are trying to get my son to gain weight so we actually give him bites of unhealthy things too. LOL. pizza, tacos (with sour cream of course), bread (definitely have to put butter on it for more fat), cheese ravioli's, lasagne, perogi's, but yeah he's a huge fan of fruits and veggies too!!basebell6https://www.blogger.com/profile/12476758880824912257noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5318432618768960668.post-42206483803156033092011-06-27T22:44:46.430-04:002011-06-27T22:44:46.430-04:00One of my go-tos is pancakes! Pancakes also freeze well, so they're a mom-friendly food, too.Musichttp://www.mikeandmusic.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5318432618768960668.post-67601351916352125342011-06-27T21:56:06.185-04:002011-06-27T21:56:06.185-04:00Our LO didn't have teeth when we started solid...Our LO didn't have teeth when we started solids, either - we started BLW at six months and she always mashed/nommed/gummed everything in to workable bites for her. She only has three teeth now (at almost 11 months) - they've definitely helped her become more efficient with her eating, but we haven't really introduced anything different just because she has a few chompers. She loves pretty much all fruits and veggies and can't get enough of breakfast carbs (waffles, bagels, French toast, etc.) and foods like pierogi, grilled cheese sandwiches, tortellini, meatballs (we cut them in half) and string cheese. She hasn't met a pasta she doesn't like, and she's a big fan of ham, too. She also loves yogurt (we get an organic baby one).Kristin {Sea Cow Circus}https://www.blogger.com/profile/02931082676855578467noreply@blogger.com
