In case anyone is ever under the impression that Nora's monthly photo shoots are easy to do, I figured I'd set the record straight by posting some of the outtakes from her 9-month "session."
Oh, and before anyone tells me what terrible parents we are for letting our girl nearly take a nosedive off of the chair (multiple times!)--Michael was RIGHT there the whole time. No worries.

What type of camera/settings do you use? My daughter is the same way (constantly moving) and all of my out takes are blurry!

Love these! We do similar monthly photos with my daughter (who is 16 months) and miraculously, she's always been pretty good about sitting still for a minute. She usually grabs the doll that sits next to her but doesn't try to get down. It's very strange - she's moving ALL the time on the floor, but when we put her in a chair, she's stunned enough to sit still for a good amount of time!
Hahaha! That is so cute! She is on the GO. Your "official" photos always basically match up, so I never really thought, "Wait a minute...babies don't hold that still!" Haha. She is adorable!
Kate, we have a Canon 7D. Settings are usually around ISO 320-400, SS 1/60 or 1/100, f/3.2. My SS is slow because I am using an external flash and I am "dragging the shutter." The flash freezes her movements.
How cute! I love the 4th one looks like she was dying of laughter and just had to lie down to catch her breath. lol
She is such a cutie. Those photos are just classic.
Totally stick with it..lets face it your got some great silly shots and the memories to go with it. I took my daughters photo every Thurday the first week fo her life trust me...so worth it!!!
