Related to my soon-to-be-unveiled redesign of Heather Drive...
I'm trying to put together a short list of "hot topics" on the blog. Maybe they're frequently asked questions, maybe they're favorite past posts. These should be things that probably deserve more than just a "label" in the long list of labels on the sidebar.
I swear I'm not trying to toot my own horn here. I'm simply trying to make the blog easier to navigate.
Any ideas? Thoughts? Opinions?
P.S. The redesign has been consuming me, but I have a couple new recipes (one dinner, one dessert) to post. They're coming soon, I promise!

Sorry for commenting again and again! I always have things I want to comment on! Ignore my ramblings!
I actually like the fact that all your topics are given 'equal treatment' in the labeling department. For me, the amazing thing about your blog is that is successfully and interestingly chronicles various aspects of your life. It isn't a 'baking' blog or a 'craft' blog, and that's fantastic and so hard to achieve. If anything the only 'category' (and it is a self-made one) is a lifestyle blog. It's all interesting, and it's all easy to find.
Just my 2 cents.

What happened to the Twitter application?!
Are you getting rid of that in the new payout, or just moving it around? If you're going to keep it, I'd say that you might want to consider moving it up towards the top more.

Mands - Thanks for catching that. I'm not planning on getting rid of it. In preparation for the transition to the new design, I've been periodically "testing" the design on my blog, then switching it back to the old. I think the switching back and forth has caused some of my gadgets to go missing--specifically Twitter, my ads, and also my Buffalo Bills and Obama logos! All will be fixed when I roll over to the new design, which should be sometime today! :)
