This is the little guy I worked with at my photography session Saturday morning. It was BRIGHT AND EARLY.
I had my two photo shoots yesterday, and since then, I have been "working" every free moment, sorting, editing, finalizing photo files. I just can't help myself. I love it. Who knew work could be so much fun?
I could get used to this.

I am seriously impressed with your work. I honestly wish I could fly you to Iowa to do our newborn shoot! Why can't you live closer?!
And, yes, that little boy is SUPER ADORABLE!
He is seriously cute!! Love your work. Did you get any formal training?
I think you've found your calling then Heather:)
Wish I could fly you to Jamaica to do a session with my daughter. She loves posing for the camera!
I'm totally going to be bugging you to take photos of our kids when we get to that point! Probably soon after we're married... :) Great job Heather!
Heather, your photography is just beautiful. I have the (shutter)"bug" myself and I am constantly inspired by your work. Will you be posting more photos from this weekend's shoots? Thanks for sharing your work and your blog... gives me something interesting to read every day!

Jenn--You know I would SO fly out to Iowa to photograph your baby, if I could afford it. Bummer. Maybe we should start playing the lotto? :)
Pie--No formal training. I've been teaching myself! Hours and hours of work and practice, thousands of pictures... and still a ways to go!
Moya--The ones that love to pose are the best! They make the job a lot easier, that's for sure. :)
Lesley--You will always have my number, girlie. Can't wait for you and Steve to start your family. But I suppose I should look forward to your wedding first, eh?
Melanie--Typically, I don't share my work here unless they're photos of family. Unfortunately, the way things are these days, I feel a need to keep my personal and professional stuff separate. However, this session was with a friend's son, so I felt OK posting one pic. But this is likely the only one I'll share of him. Good luck with your photography, though! It's the most challenging "hobby" I've ever taken on, but I love it and I'm passionate about it, so it's been worth it so far.
