I have $100

My mom gave it to me for my birthday, and made me promise not to use it to pay bills, buy groceries, or add to savings. She said I have to go out and spend it on something.
So now I have to figure out what that is.
What do I need most? Probably new clothes. Don't laugh, I'm serious. I am a woman that hates to shop (I know, *gasp*) so I am usually in desperate need of new clothes.
What do I want most? I'm not sure. Hmm. There are still some things left on our registry to buy, but I don't think any of them are particularly fun.
What to buy, what to buy...

I'd go for a massage or a haircut.
Brace yourselves: I have never, ever had a massage.
Please go get a massage. I feel so sad when I hear/read that people have gone without for so long. Go on yelp and find a good spa in your area since there are spa's that suck.
They usually cost about $60-$70. Then you have enough money left over to buy a couple new shirts or a pair of pants.
My grandma recently was given a huge settlement from a car accident two years ago and gave her kids and grandkids money. I had no idea how to spend it! It is easy to spend your own money, but hard to decide how to use money just handed to you.
Enjoy!
Massage is a good suggestion. If you're still loving the classes you took, you could always enroll in a different type of cooking class. Or, you could get an iPod shuffle. Or, a mani/pedi. So many options!!
i second the massage suggestion!
I had never gotten a massage until our honeymoon. We got a couple's massage on the cruise ship (which was ridiculously overpriced) and it was pretty great. I don't know if I'm going to end up being a "massage person" that goes all the time (like some people I work with who go once a week or twice a month), but it was nice to try it. I think that's a good suggestion, especially since you've never had one.
Something pampering (massage, mani/pedi, haircut), like the other suggestions, would be good because you probably don't spend your regular money on it very often. I'm the same way.
